About the founder
Setareh Lundgren is a Swedish Director and Producer with Iranian roots, born in Shiraz in 1981 and based in Uppsala since 1984. Since 2001 she has been working in the film industry. Selected award-winning films she has produced include Four Wives and One Man (2007) and Son of the Mullah (2023). Driven by a deep curiosity for human behavior and bridge-building between continents, she founded Meritis Film AB in 2023, focusing on internationally impactful experiences for cinema, TV, and streaming platforms.
